We're Hiring: Cell & Gene Therapy Scientist!
We are seeking an experienced Cell & Gene Therapy Scientist to advance our cutting-edge research and development programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in primary T cell and iPSC manipulation, with a strong background in cellular engineering and therapeutic development.
Location: South San Francisco, United States
Work Mode: Work From Office
Role: Cell & Gene Therapy Scientist (primary T cells and iPSCs)
Pay Scale: $98, 209 – $122, 777 Dependent on Experience)
What You'll Do
Generate engineered cells (including cancer cell lines, iPSCs, and primary cells) using stable
integration (both lentivirus and piggybac) and CRISPR gene editing
Transfection/ gene editing optimization
Troubleshoot cell engineering protocols
Characterize engineered cells using genomics and molecular assays
Maintain and quality check cell lines in culture.
What We're Looking For
A self-motivated candidate with a (BS/ MS) + 3 years industry experience, or PhD in Molecular
Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline.
Qualified candidates must have demonstrable strong mammalian cell culture techniques and
ability to generate high-quality data.
Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and will be required to
analyze and present data at team meetings.
The candidate should be team-oriented, highly organized both operationally and in silico, with the
ability to multi-task across a diverse array of projects, and eager to learn new skills.
Prior experience with primary T cells and iPSCs - Preferred
