We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our healthcare team in Hollywood, FL. This full-time role involves rotating between three hospitals, all within a 20-30 minute driving distance of each other, within our large healthcare system. Our Level IV NICU provides a high level of care for neonates, and you will play a key role in delivering specialized care for our tiniest patients.
As a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced care to neonates in a Level IV NICU setting. You will collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing treatment for neonates requiring critical care.
You will also participate in the management of neonatal patients in the NICU, monitoring their progress, providing medication, and supporting families with education and emotional care. This role requires rotation between three hospitals, providing coverage and support to the NICU teams at each facility. Ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care is delivered to all neonatal patients is a critical aspect of the role.
Qualifications:
Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
Master's Degree in Nursing (minimum) or Doctorate in Nursing.
2+ years of employment experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
FL state license (or willingness to obtain).
BLS and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain).
