Job Description
Senior Open-Source Analyst:
Alcor is looking for the Senior Open-Source Analyst who conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provides all source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology. Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
Education/Experience: Must possess experience utilizing Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools, working with problem sets like crypto/virtual assets, and demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of PAI or social media. Must have familiarization using Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience must include the following:
• Experience with accessing, researching, and exploiting global and regional social media and digital platforms.
• Must have experience with conducting Open -Source research, all-source intelligence analysis, or targeting.
• Knowledge of advanced Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, advanced research techniques, search engine and database resources, and Internet sources, including social media, social networking tools, and commercial and industry-based databases.
